Innovations in the perfume industry are rare, yet consumer expectations, especially regarding environmental aspects, are high. In collaboration with the Grasse-based fragrance house, Expressions Parfumées, Superga Beauty introduces water-based perfume, a new patented formulation technology that concentrates the most potent fragrance essences in water, without alcohol. The resulting juice remains transparent, the texture is non-sticky, with a longevity and intensity comparable to an alcohol-based perfume.
In terms of olfactory creation, these new water-based fragrances allow perfumers to utilize the entire range of compositions, making water-based perfume an ideal medium for fine perfumery. These alcohol-free fragrant formulations have the advantage of being neither cloudy nor milky, allowing them to be packaged in transparent bottles.
This innovative formulation approach can also be applied to the children and baby product market, fresh waters, scented hair mists, and home fragrances.
