Upcycling<\/strong> is the art of giving items a second life by creating new and unique objects with added value. This is a phenomenon undergoing vast expansion with one of the leading advantages being its positive environmental impact since this creative re-use avoids the need to create a whole new product. It is now available to everyone across all sectors of society (Art, Decoration, Design, Habitat, Fashion), and is today coming to the Beauty sector.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the framework of their collaboration, Superga Beauty and Clarins Unlimited have produced re-useable and washable cotton make-up removal pads using upcycled material. Clarins Unlimited was won over by the technique proposed by Superga Beauty due to its originality, environmental responsibility and speed of implementation.<\/p>\n

\u201cSuperga Beauty teams are proud to have developed this environmentally-friendly and upcycled gift in close collaboration with the Clarins Unlimited teams. We have reduced the environmental impact and are actively involved in bringing new impetus to the textile basin in the Hauts-de-France region<\/em>\u201d, explained Leslie Br\u00e9au Meniger, CEO of Superga Beauty.<\/strong><\/p>\n

A SUCCESSFUL EXPERIENCE LED ALONGSIDE CLARINS UNLIMITED<\/span><\/strong>
\nThe solution designed and developed by Superga Beauty was selected for this gift which was offered in Clarins Unlimited beauty subscription boxes throughout January and February. After successful design and testing, this gift was manufactured in Roubaix, the historical cradle of the textile industry. The product perfectly cleans eyes, face and neck. A quick and easy wipe \u2013 a dab of cleansing milk or a few drops of lotion on the cloth \u2013 to protect your skin and the planet. For this specific project, Superga Beauty used dormant fabrics from the textile industry (primarily household linen) and manufactured a cotton cloth. This upcycled printed cotton product has been given a whole new life and no new production was required.
\nThe environmental advantages are considerable:<\/strong>
\n\u2022 A total of 40% fewer CO2 emissions<\/strong>
\n\u2022 A 50% reduction in water use<\/strong>
\nSuperga Beauty is continuing with other upcycling tests with a clear objective of offering new applications to respond to brand demands.<\/strong><\/p>\n
